Accreditation of Prior Learning

APL imparts visibility to skills acquired through work experience.

Accreditation of Prior Learning

What is APL?

Accreditation of Prior Learning is an individual right instituted by the law on social modernisation dated 17 January 2002 :
'Any working person has the right to seek accreditation of his or her experience, in particular professional experience, with a view to acquiring a diploma, a professional certification, or a professional certificate registered in the national directory of professional certifications' (Article L.900-1 of the French Labour Code).

Who is concerned?

Any employee, self-employed worker, jobseeker, or volunteer with at least three years' experience related to the certificate or diploma sought.
Any company wishing to support professional mobility or retraining, or simply to individualise career paths, in the context of human resource management. APL must, however, always be a purely individual initiative, free of obligation.

Personalised support; simplified but structured.

Phase 1

Before embarking on APL, it is necessary to understand the administrative, financial and educational mechanism. Our counselor explains the procedure and advises the candidate in order to:

  • Target the planned diploma or certificate with respect to the person's career development
  • Obtain acceptance of, and financing for, the support hours (to be incorporated in the company training plan)

Phase 2

Our instructors, specialists in the diploma's subject area, guide the candidate in putting together the dossier and preparing for the interview with the panel.

Phase 3

Alongside the Human Resource Manager or the Training Manager, we anticipate how to manage the future (after APL).

A wide range of activities

From CAP to BTS in the fields of craft trades, the tertiary sector, industry, and logistics.
